We are a professional home inspection service that evaluates the home or building’s mechanical and structural systems. We teach people how to care for and improve their home. We work to provide a sense of security and confidence in your purchase or sale.

We explain our opinion of the condition of the home or building, using “plain English,” in both oral and written reports.

Meet The Inspector
Bob Silverman has been involved in construction and technological systems management for over thirty-five years. Bob has also taught at the secondary and university level in many technology subjects. He designed and taught a funded (National Defense Education Act) course in “Construction & Manufacturing Technology.” He has taught “Technology Systems Management” at the university level. This course was an outcome of his work as a consultant to the New York State Education Department, in the creation of the new statewide “Technology Education” K-12 curriculum.

He is currently the owner The Home Inspection Pro, LLC, a professional home inspection service. He serves as a full-time commercial property and home inspector. Bob has the technical, management and human relations skills necessary to provide the client with a full understanding of the apparent quality and expected performance of the client’s home or building.

Bob Silverman’s university education includes completion of a Sequence in Technological Systems Management at the State University of New York at Stony Brook, College of Engineering and Applied Science; a Sequence in Educational Administration at Hofstra University; a MS Degree in Guidance and Counseling from Long Island University, C.W. Post Center; and a BS Degree in Technology Education from the State University College at Buffalo.

Technical Training has continued as Bob earned Certificates in Commercial Property Inspection and Residential Inspection (Home Inspection) from Inspection Training Associates, a division of Kaplan Professional Schools, at their Connecticut campus.

Bob is a member in good standing in many professional organizations. He also has passed both the Standards and Ethics Examination offered by the American Society of Home Inspectors, and the National Home Inspector Examination offered by the Examination Board of Professional Home Inspectors.
